The Spinetta family has been living and working in Amador County for five generations.The winery, located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley -- next to Dobra Zimlja -- produces three styles of Zinfandel, three Chenin Blancs, a Barbera, Chardonnay, and several other specialties.

Spinetta labels feature wildlife paintings, and the winery follows through on this theme with a wildlife art gallery containing more than 450 pieces of art.

The tasting room and art gallery (above) are open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, at 12557 Steiner Road, near Plymouth.
