This winery, with two labels, has adopted the slogan "Where the Rhone Valley meets the Sierra Nevada."

The Domain de la Terre Rouge label focuses on Rhone varietals: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Viognier, Marsanne, Rousanne, plus dessert Muscat. The Easton label specializes in distinctive old-vine Zinfandel and Barbara, among others -- wines that are more traditional to the Amador foothills. More and more, the Rhone bottlings are gaining fame, and this winery has been a leader in the California Rhone wine movement.
