Located in El Dorado County, in the Apple Hill area northeast of Placerville, Lava Cap's vineyards have elevations ranging from 1,500 feet to 2,900 feet. The winery produces a wide range of varieties including fine Chardonnays and Fumé Blancs., plus a brace of red varietals. Lava Cap's multi award-winning Chardonnay Reserve is a member of our "Top Ten" Selection.
