Located at an elevation of 2,400 feet, this estate vineyard is located along a ridge-top above the middle fork of the Consumnes River, in the Somerset/Fair Play district of southern El Dorado County. The winery owns 155 acres, of which 70 acres of vineyards are planted.

"ZinMan" a zinfandel, is the winery's trademark bottling. Perry Creek also makes Rhone varietals including Syrah, Viognier, and Mourvedre. Owners Dieter Jurgens and Michele Williams also produce a variety of red and white wines and dessert wines including Muscat Canelli and Port.

Wines Available

White:

2003 Chardonnay, El Dorado
Aromas of lemon and ripe pears. Flavors of roasted hazelnuts,
honeysuckle, and grapefruit. Crisp and buttery with a succulent finish.

2004 Chardonnay, El Dorado
Aromas of ripe apple, vanilla, and citrus fruits. Flavors of creme brulee,
creamy oak, and gala apples. Full bodied mouth feel with lush texture and a soft finish.

2005 Viognier, Estate
Aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossoms, and peach highlight our 2005 Viognier.
Nicely textured with a long uplifting finish.

Red:

2004 Mourvedre, El Dorado
Aromas of ripe plums and boysenberries with a slightly toasty oak overlay.
Pairs well with roast chicken with herbs de provence.

2004 ZinMan Zinfandel, Sierra Foothills
Aromas of briar boysenberry fruit, baking spices, and black pepper.
Rich espresso roast flavors as well as cherry cola, spice box, and black cherries.
Creamy oak with full bodied tannins and a big finish.

2003 Syrah, Estate
Aromas of Fragrant blueberries and figs along with flavors of black plum,
raspberry, and vanilla.

2004 Merlot, Estate
Aromas of sweetened coffee and ripe black cherries. Speaks of deep
cherry fruit and dark chocolate. Will age well over the next 3-5 years.

2003 Three Hills Red, Estate
Aromas of black cherries and dried herbs. Flavors of cedar and espresso beans.
Moderate tannins in a lighter style bordeaux blend, nicely textured open style.
Will age well for the next 6-7 years.

Dessert:

Perry Creek Port
A blend made from 35% traditional Portugese varieties and
65% Estate grown red varieties.

2006 Muscat Canelli, Estate
Aromas of pink grapefruit and honeysuckle blossoms. Flavors of candied
citrus fruits, spiced pears, and honey.
